Session 1: Invasive Plant Identification and Control – Tuesday, January 11, 7-8 PM CST

Are you having problems identifying and/or controlling invasive plants on your property? If so, then this class is for you. We will describe the most problematic invasive plants for woodlands in Wisconsin and recommend ways to control them.

Session 2: Success With Tree Planting – Tuesday, January 18, 7-8 PM CST

This session will identify what is needed to successfully plant and nurture new trees. Learn which trees will grow best on your land, how to prepare your land, techniques for planting, and how to care for newly planted trees.

Session 3  Assistance With Your Woodland: People, Programs and Planning – Tuesday, January 25, 7-8 PM CST

A healthy woodland requires knowledge of forestry techniques, and the investment of time and money. This session will link you to the people, programs and organizations that offer technical and financial assistance for all aspects of your woodland.

Pre-registration is required.

The registration fee is $15 per person, which includes access to all three classes. Register by January 7th, 2022 to attend the first week of class. We plan to make recordings available after the class if you cannot attend live.
