Cooperating for Wildlife Habitat Workshop

August 29, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Golden Sands RC&D will be holding a series of workshops this spring focusing on cooperative land management. Cooperative land management is when landowners work together across property boundaries to meet different land management goals.

The first workshop in their series is Cooperating for Wildlife Habitat. Wildlife don’t acknowledge property boundaries. They depend on diverse habitat types across large areas. If you want to provide for abundant, healthy wildlife populations, you need to consider habitat beyond your property. At this workshop, speakers will share information about working collaboratively to enhance wildlife habitat. The topics discussed will appeal to wildlife watchers and hunters alike.

To read more about the Cooperating for Wildlife Habitat workshop, see the Workshop Agenda.
