Using EQIP to Create Pollinator Habitat on Wisconsin’s Farms

Please join us for an info- and Q&A session about how you can attract pollinators to your farm with the help of NRCS programs like EQIP.
About this event
Please join Laura Jach-Smith (Pollinator Partnership), Merrie Schamberger (WI-NRCS), Julie Peterson (Pheasants Forever), Meagan Duberstein (WI-NRCS), and John White (WI-NRCS) for a live, online Q&A session focused on creating pollinator habitat on Wisconsin’s farms. Laura will give a brief introduction on the importance of pollinators and the components of good pollinator habitat. Merrie and Julie will show examples of establishing pollinator habitat with the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) and discuss landowner feedback. Meagan will review how EQIP works and how to get started. After the presentation, the entire group will be available to answer questions about pollinator habitat and the EQIP application process.
This event is free but will be capped at 50 participants, so please register for the event by “purchasing” a free ticket. Questions about the event can be directed to Laura at ljs@pollinator.org.
