I have a degree in Forest Management from UW-Stevens Point and currently live in Merrill. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing with my family. Helping to maintain a healthy working forest is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Lincoln County: I like the diversity of forest types and the varied terrain of the landscape in the county. I appreciate the abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation and the large public land base of the county.
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
