Bio

Originally from Eastern Iowa, I joined the Wisconsin DNR after completing my degree in forestry at Iowa State University. I grew up helping my dad manage our hardwood forests and understand first-hand the value of different generations caring for the land. When not at work, I enjoy playing cribbage, exploring local trails, and working on a variety of home projects. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.

What I like about Douglas County: The landscape has great species diversity, challenging our care of Mother Nature.  Collaborating with landowners to realize the potential of their woods is wonderful.
