Bad Axe Chapter Field Day. Mark the Date!

Join us for a fun and informative day in the wonderful driftless area of Wisconsin. There will be displays, handouts, and information on several topics including Invasive Species management, disease management, MFL and NRCS Equip Programs and more. A special presentation on the history of the American Chestnut in the West Salem including Information on the research/treatments/findings and results on the local grove that succumbed to the blight by 2000.
Registration will begin at 8:45am with coffee and donuts and an opportunity to view displays. Speakers and hosts will be introduced at 9:25. At 11:30 we will break for lunch. Please bring your own sack lunch and the chapter will provide drinks: soda, water and hot water. There will be a brief Bad Axe Chapter meeting at lunch. The program will resume at 12:30 and end about 2:00. There is no registration fee but donations to the Chapter are appreciated.
Displays, handouts, and information: including tree diseases, invasive species, NRCS Equip Programs, and the American Chestnut history, research and findings.

11:30 -12:15 Lunch, Chapter Meeting
12:15 – 2:00 To the woodland by hayride or truck to view new tree plantings and other projects in the field
