Bio
I grew up outside Stevens Point and studied Forest Management at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time, I enjoy camping, gardening, turkey hunting, ice fishing, and hiking public forests. I always knew I wanted to work outdoors. Growing up, I had an appreciation for forests and now understand first-hand the wide array of services a healthy forest provides. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Sawyer County: The people and setting are both wonderful. I appreciate our rural forested landscape. It supports abundant wildlife, great fishing, and recreational opportunities for all ages.
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
