Bio
I grew up in Crest Hill, IL. I studied Forest Management at Vermilion Community College in Ely, MN and finished my degree at UW-Stevens Point. I started as a forester with DNR in 2013. In my free time, I enjoy my family, hunting, fishing, gardening, and managing my family’s property. I always knew I wanted to work outdoors. Growing up, I had an appreciation for forests. Now understand first-hand the wide array of services a healthy forest provides. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Florence County: The people and the setting are both wonderful. I appreciate our rural landscape with abundant recreational activities.
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
