Bio
I grew up just west of Chicago and studied Forest Management at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time, I enjoy camping, backpacking, and photography. I always knew I wanted to work outdoors. Now I understand the positive, long-term effects people can have on the forest landscape. Helping landowners connect with their forest is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Pierce & Pepin County: The towering bluffs hugging the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers provide a beautiful backdrop to the majestic oak and colorful sugar maple forests. As the mosquitos disappear, the bottomland forests are wonderful to explore; you never know what you will find.

There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
