Invasive Species Identification and Control Field Day

Join Southwest Badger RC&D and the Kickapoo Woods Cooperative for a fun and informative field day event. Participants will learn how to identify, monitor and manage invasive plants. This will be a field day event so be prepared to hike and dress appropriately for the current weather conditions. During this event we will tour a privately owned property and learn how to identify a variety of invasive species such as autumn olive and honeysuckle. We will also discuss control techniques and observe completed control projects. The tour will be led by Brandon Bleuer with Southwest Badger RC&D and Allissa Corrow with the Kickapoo Woods Cooperative. The event is free to all participants.
