Northwest WWOA Field Day hosted by chapter member August 3.
The Place family invites WWOA members and guests to visit on Saturday August 3 2019 starting at 9:30 AM.
The address for the Field Day is N8701 Lower McKenzie Road Spooner WI.
The 168 acres encompasses the east shore of Deer Lake in Washburn County and is in a conservation easement. History of the property includes a fire, a replanted pine plantation due/overdue for harvest, a beautiful creek and hiking trail through mature evergreens and hardwoods, an open area, a children’s area and much more. In addition to hearing the owner’s perspective, a forester will “show and tell” about management practices which have been implemented in the past, as well as options for the future.
Please bring a lawn chair and a sack lunch. Beverages will be provided.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or 715-651-6931 for planning purposes, and detailed directions will be provided as needed.
