Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association (WWOA) Bad Axe Chapter Field Day

$5Join the Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association (WWOA) Bad Axe Chapter for their annual fall field day at the Wind Hill Tree Farm in Arena. Registration begins at 9:30 am and the cost is $5 per person. Please bring a sandwich, a dish to pass, and a camping chair. Soup, apples, coffee, donuts, and water will be provided.
The morning will start with an introduction and demonstration of tree & shrub propagation by Dr. Deborah McCown, President of Knight Hollow Nursery followed by an overview of herbicide use in the woodlot by Dr. Brent McCown, retired Professor of Agriculture at UW-Madison.
Following lunch, there will be a walking tour of Windy Hill Tree Farm led by Brent showing examples of herbicide control on various invasive plants.
