Woodland Owner Webinars: Wisconsin Private Forest Management

This session will link you to the people, programs and organizations that offer technical and financial assistance to help you achieve your goals with your woodland. We will discuss state and federal agencies who administer these programs, the details and benefits of cost-share programs, and how to apply for them. Join us to learn more about Wisconsin woodland owner cost-share programs and get your questions answered!
Lauren Larsen is the Forestry Educator for UW-Madison Division of Extension. Lauren works in the northwestern region of Wisconsin and is based out of Eau Claire County. Lauren teaches Learn About Your Land classes, a series of introductory forestry courses, to woodland owners. Lauren recently started a women woodland owner Program to educate and connect women woodland owners to resources and professional help.
Matt Molback is the Wisconsin DNR Tax Law Forestry Specialist for Dunn, St. Croix, and Pierce Counties, and is based out of the Menomonie office. Matt works with landowners enrolled in the Managed Forest Law and Forest Crop Law programs by helping landowners to practice sound forestry and administering the laws of the program. Matt has been a forester with the Wisconsin DNR for 14 years.
