Meet Randee Smith

Randee Smith grew up in lower Michigan, but knew she belonged in the Northwoods. She moved north to obtain her Ecology degree at Michigan Technological University. Her field experiences researching Golden-winged Warbler genetics and determining songbird response to young forest habitat management techniques led her to her current role of Coordinator for the Wisconsin Young Forest Partnership where she has been assisting landowners with their properties for 5 years utilizing cost-share programs. On her off time, Randee enjoys spending time on her hobby farm, bird hunting with her pup Kimber, and exploring the Northwoods.
