Bio
I grew up in central Illinois and studied forestry at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time I enjoy biking, hiking, camping, gardening, hunting, and fishing. I grew up spending much of my time in the woods and over time my fascination with natural resources has grown.
What I like about Trempealeau County: The landscape in this region is beautiful. The mix of agriculture, forests, bluffs, and rivers is amazing. There are many recreational opportunities in the area, trout fishing, hunting, hiking, and biking are great in the area.
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
