Bio

I was born in the UP but grew up in Chicago. After a career in the military, I knew I wanted to do something beneficial for the land, so I studied natural resources in college. I studied forestry at UW-Stevens Point. I was originally assigned to Antigo as a trainee followed by Adams Friendship before transferring to Pembine. In my free time, I camp, garden, hunt, and fish. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.

What I like about Marinette County: I enjoy the quiet tranquility of the area.

There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
