Bio
About me: I grew up near Bruce, WI and studied Forestry Administration and Utilization at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time I enjoy hunting, fishing, trapping, and camping. I love walking through the woods and feel fortunate to have a career in which I can do so on a regular basis. I also enjoy the challenge of managing a forest as I see it as a mosaic on the landscape.
What I like about Monroe County: The scenery is what I enjoy most; from farms to wooded hills and cranberry bogs. I appreciate our rural landscape. It supports agriculture, hardwood and pine forests, abundant wildlife and recreational opportunities for all ages.
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
