Bio
I studied forestry at UW-Stevens Point and have applied sustainable forestry practices in the Northwoods of Wisconsin for the past decade. In my free time, I enjoy family time, hiking, skiing, and traveling. Trying to leave nature a better place than I found it has been a guiding principle for me in life. When it comes to sound forest management landowners have many opportunities to do good things for the future of their land. I enjoy assisting landowners and offering information to help them through this process. Helping landowners achieve their goals is very rewarding.
What I like about Vilas County: The variety of timber types in the area is awesome. The lakes and rivers are great too!
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
