Growing up, I lived in several different states and chose to study Forestry at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time, I enjoy many outdoor activities. My favorite is farming with my family. We raise grass-fed and finished beef and pastured chickens, turkeys and pigs. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Portage County: The rural landscape supports agriculture, pine and hardwood forests, abundant wildlife and recreational opportunities for all ages. The Wisconsin River and other water bodies also provide recreational opportunities. The university brings in unique cultural activities.
