I attended UW-Stevens Point and earned a degree in Forest Management. I always enjoyed being outdoors and my favorite vacation every summer was spending time with my grandparents in the Manitowish Waters area. I enjoy gardening, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, photography, and spending time with my husband and our dogs. Helping landowners achieve their forest goals and objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Iron County: The abundance of public land with amazing views. I appreciate our remote, wild landscape which supports a variety of game and non-game wildlife and recreational opportunities for a diverse group of users.
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
