Bio
I grew up on the north side of Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Forestry. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, and travel. Growing up in the city made me appreciate getting into the outdoors because a bad day in the woods is still a pretty good day. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Marathon County: Marathon County really is the center of things in Wisconsin. Wausau is big enough to have all of the amenities while still keeping farms and forests nearby. Always plenty to do with great outdoor recreational opportunities.
There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
