Bio

I’m a long-time resident of Dunn County and have worked as a forester here since 2002. In addition to my career as a DNR forester, I’m a woodland owner myself–so I understand the challenges and opportunities as the custodian of a piece of Wisconsin’s rural landscape. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.

What I like about Dunn County: This part of Wisconsin has a remarkable mixture of terrain and forest types, and I never get tired of being out on the landscape taking it all in.

There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
