Bio
I grew up on a dairy farm in Marinette County and spent most of my free time in the woods. In high school, I realized I wanted to work in the outdoors and forestry gives me the option to manage both the forest and wildlife. I received my forestry degree at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time, I love to hunt and spent time with my wife and kids in the woods or on the farm. Educating landowners about their property is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Oconto County: I love the diversity of Oconto from the big woods up north to the woodlots in the south. I enjoy working with landowners to manage their forests for wildlife habitat, recreation, timber production, and long-term forest health.
