I went to high school in Sun Prairie. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Forest Management. My wife and I work on our small woodlot in Vernon County and a hobby farm in Richland County. As a kid, I would go on adventures in the hills around my home in Poynette. I always wanted to know what was “on the other side.” Now that is what I do for a living.
What I like about Richland County: The landowners of Richland County have long history of embracing conservation practices. I enjoy working with landowners that have been practicing sustainable management for decades and those new to the tradition of sustainable management.
