Bio

I grew up just outside of Chippewa Falls. Growing up I split my time between there and my uncle’s farm in northwest Taylor County. I graduated from UW-Stevens Point in Forestry. Whether it is through hunting, fishing, or just spending an evening by the bon fire with friends and family, I try to be outside as much as I can.

What I like about Marinette County: It is a county that has a lot of possibilities, and you never know what you’ll see or find as you are exploring new corners of the county. Marinette county truly has something for everyone to enjoy.

About me: I grew up in Quinnesec, MI spending as much time in the woods as possible. In my free time I enjoy trout fishing, hunting, and hiking. I always knew I wanted to work in the forest and that led me to studying Forest Management at UW-Stevens Point. I have an appreciation for forests and the benefits they can provide when managed. 

What I like about Marinette County:Forestry in Marinette County dates back a long time. I enjoy seeing this history while working in the woods. I also enjoy the vast resource of both private and public lands in the county. They provide great opportunities for recreation. 

Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
