Bio
I grew up in southwest Wisconsin and studied Forestry at UW-Madison. Helping forest landowners has been a large part of my forestry career with DNR, which first started in 2002. Over the years I have served as a forester in the Montello, Wausau, and now Medford stations.
What I like about Taylor County: North central Wisconsin features a diverse mix of forest types including northern hardwoods, aspen, oak, pine, and swamp hardwoods. Exploring the woods and discussing management possibilities with landowners is wonderfully interesting and rewarding.

There are also many cooperating foresters who are able to assist you. Cooperating Foresters are consulting foresters or industrial foresters who voluntarily enter into a cooperative agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Consulting foresters are private-sector foresters who provide forestry services on a contract or fee basis and who represent the interests of private forest landowners.
