The Bad Axe Chapter of Wisconsin Woodland Owner’s Association Summer Picnic

Bad Axe will be hosting a Summer Potluck Picnic on Saturday, June 22, 2024, At the Wilson State Nursery, located at 5350 Hwy. 133 East Boscobel, Wi. We will start our day with a tour of the nursery, then gather for lunch with speaker presentation to be announced. The nursery will have a trailer available for anyone preferring to ride. Bad axe will provide water and soft drinks. Bring your own bag lunch.
When: June 22 10 AM – 2 pm
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, clothing for predicted weather and a folding chair. Children welcome so please bring your children and grandchildren.
Registration: There is no registration fee but please sign in and donations to Bad Axe Chapter are appreciated.
Weather: The event will be CANCELLED (not rescheduled as noted in previous e mails) in the event of predicted severe weather, such as heavy rain, high winds and tornados or hazardous thunderstorms or flooding
Come join us to learn more about what our state DNR nurseries have to offer! Our Bad Axe DNR forester will be available to answer any questions after the tour.
