I grew up outside of Mindoro, WI and studied Forest Management at UW-Stevens Point. I have worked in Colorado, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and northern Wisconsin, but I always wanted to move back home. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and working on habitat improvement projects on my family’s land. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Jackson County: The Black River divides the county into two parts. West of the Black River has a lot of terrain and agriculture while the east has very large blocks of forest. This allows for a huge variety of recreational and forest management opportunities.

Bio
I grew up in La Crescent, MN, and studied Forest Management at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time I enjoy camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, fishing, and spending time with family.
What I like about Jackson County: I enjoy living and working in a rural community. The transition from wooded hills and agriculture in the west to the sandy pine and oak forest in the east make this a fun and interesting county to practice forestry.
Every landowner has different goals and objectives and I appreciate the unique opportunities that each piece of property offers.
