Bio
I’m a Wisconsin native who loves the peace and beauty of the Northwoods. I spend free time traveling with my family, hiking, and occasionally fishing or hunting. I’m trying to become a relatively skillful cross-country skier. I graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a degree in forest management in 2000.
What I like about Oneida & Vilas Counties: I love the large blocks of forest which are dotted with beautiful lakes and swamps. Foresters manage forests by mimicking nature. I get to steer forests to help keep them healthy while providing wildlife habitat and diverse recreational opportunities. I enjoy working on public lands, assisting private landowners, and working with loggers to sustainably manage forests.

Bio
I grew up outside of a small town south of Madison and spent most of my time helping my grandparents on their dairy farm. I always enjoyed being outdoors and forestry seemed like a natural decision when I got to college. I attended UW-Madison and studied Forest Management. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, running, and spending time in the woods. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.
What I like about Oneida County: People own woodland property here for a wide range of reasons. I enjoy helping each person reach the goals they have for their property.
