Bio

I grew up in Elk Mound, WI and studied Forest Management at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time, I enjoy camping, snowshoeing, hiking, cutting firewood, hunting, and fishing. I always knew I wanted to work outdoors and growing up, I had an interest and appreciation for forests and the services a healthy forest provides. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.

What I like about Polk County: I appreciate our rural landscape. Polk County sits on the transition between northern and southern Wisconsin and supports diversity from both. Also, our county supports agriculture, hardwood forests, abundant wildlife and recreational opportunities for all ages.

I am originally from Deer Park, WI and studied Forest Management at UW-Stevens Point. My favorite hobbies include woodworking, hunting, and playing and watching sports. I really enjoy spending time walking the woods. Helping landowners achieve their forest objectives is the most rewarding part of being a forester.

What I like about Burnett and Polk Counties: I enjoy the small-town, simple lifestyles common to northern Wisconsin. The vast amounts of public land and lakes also offer great recreational opportunities.

About me: I grew up in the driftless area near Fountain City and studied Forest Ecosystem Restoration and Management at UW-Stevens Point. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, snowshoeing, completive sports, hunting, and fishing. I always knew I wanted to work outdoors. Growing up, I was involved in a wide array of community focused outdoor projects which lead me to pursue a career as forester.

What I like about Burnett County: The vast acreage of public land for recreation is wonderful. I enjoy going on hikes in our state forests and canoeing the St. Croix.
